Saudi Arabia's Mobile Desalination Plants Achieving A New World Record '2.27 Kw Per Cubic Meter' Lowest Energy Consumption

The World's Lowest Energy-Consuming Mobile desalination plants. SWCC sets a new record of unprecedented Guinness World Records of reducing the energy consumption in its new mobile plants to 2.27 kW per cubic meter of desalinated water.

In favor of strengthen its global leadership on the desalination industry by reducing the cost of produced water and decreasing the use of power; which contributes as a positive impact in saving the environment.

its world record, aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 where it enables the local content to be engaged with its current and future developmental projects, and covers the whole life cycle of the projects by the available competencies and expertise to fully localize the desalination industry.

Therefore, SWCC has been investing on its engineering and research expertise to expand design innovation, and implement, supply high-efficiency, low-energy and more flexible mobile desalination plants, all from the efforts of its national cadres, who have contributed to this new global record to enhance the operational efficiency and contribute in reducing the energy consumption to unprecedented levels.

The technology used on these plants is reverse osmosis; where these plants have been reengineered in unique way to develop the supply chains, reduce operational costs, achieve profitable financial returns, and transfer the entire plants smoothly all in accordance to SWCCs standards and specifications
