[캐나다] H2O이노베이션, 스페인 라마 인수로 글로벌 막 여과 솔루션 확장

한외여과 및 역삼투 전처리 솔루션 포르폴리오 확대…제품 경쟁력 강화

 

H2O이노베이션(H2O Innovation)은 최근 스페인의 수처리 필터 제조업체인 라마 시스테마스 데 필트라도스(Lama Sistemas de Filtrados S.L. Unipersonal)를 인수했다고 발표했다.

이번 인수를 통해 H2O이노베이션은 막 여과 산업의 부품 및 소모품 분야에서 글로벌 시장을 선도하는 기업으로서의 입지를 한층 강화할 것으로 기대된다.

라마는 1948년 스페인 세비야에서 설립된 이후,  부유 고형물 제거를 위한 고급 역세척 필터 기술로 명성을 쌓아왔다. 수동식부터 완전 자동식까지 아우르는 폭넓은 제품군과 전문성을 바탕으로 지자체, 산업 및 농업 시장 전반에 걸쳐 신뢰받는 공급업체로 자리매김하고 있다.

H2O이노베이션는 라마의 제품 포트폴리오를 통합함으로써  한여과(UF) 및 역삼투(RO) 시스템의 전처리 솔루션을 더욱 다양화하고, 전 세계 OEM 및 엔지니어링 기업을 보다 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 역량을 갖추게 됐다.

H2O이노베이션의 특수 제품 사업 부문에서 Piedmont® 브랜드는 역삼투 전처리 분야에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당하고 있다. 이번 라마 인수를 통해 H2O이노베이션은 환여과 분야의 보완적 전처리 기술을 확보함으로써 글로벌 시장에서 막 시스템 부품의 종합 공급업체로 입지를 더욱 강화하게 됐다.

라마의 전 직원 40명은 모두 기존 조직에 잔류해 H2O이노베이션의 체계 아래에서 운영의 연속성을 유지하고 향후 성장을 견인할 예정이다.

H2O Innovation Acquires Lama to Expand Global Filtration Solutions

H2O Innovation Inc. (“H2O Innovation” or the “Corporation”) proudly announces the recent acquisition of Lama Sistemas de Filtrados S.L. Unipersonal (“Lama”), a Spanish water filtration system manufacturer.

This strategic acquisition, H2O Innovation’s 20th in 25 years, strengthens its position as a global market leader in components and consumables for the membrane filtration industry.

Founded in 1948 in Sevilla, Spain, Lama built its reputation on advanced backwashable filters for suspended solids removal. Its expertise and product range, spanning manual to fully automatic systems, make it a trusted supplier across municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets.

By integrating Lama’s portfolio, H2O Innovation expands its ability to serve original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and engineering firms worldwide with a broader suite of pretreatment solutions for ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems.

Within H2O Innovation’s Specialty Products business line, the Piedmont® brand plays a central role in reverse osmosis pretreatment leadership. With Lama, the Corporation now adds complementary pretreatment technologies for ultrafiltration, positioning itself as the comprehensive source for membrane system components on a global scale.
