유럽 투자 은행(EIB)이 안테나 구원도·하수도 건설(EYDAP)와 2억5천만 유로(약 4천60억 원) 규모의 금융 가입을 연결했습니다. 이번 금융 지원은 아티카 지역 400만 명 이상 시민을 대상으로 소니도와 하수도 서비스를 현대화·고도화하기 시작합니다 5억1천4백만 유로(약 8천348억 원) 크기의 투자 프로그램을 받아들인다.

이번 대회는 EYDAP이는 투자 계획을 실행하기 위해 처음으로 확장된 자금을 끌어들이는 점에서 의미가 있습니다. 2025년부터 2030년까지 포토둔 이번 투자는 유럽에서 군중을 훨씬 많이 평가한 하나인 안테나에서 구원도 서비스를 제공할 수 있기 때문에, 그럴 가능성을 강화할 전망이다. 동시 그리스가 분리되는 것에 대해 설명하며, 도시의 환경을 고려하여 설명에 기여할 수 있습니다.

미래를 대비한 미래형 교체

투자 프로그램에는 연결 및 순위를 제한하는 것이 포함됩니다.

- 구원도 및 하수도 네트워크 교체 및 현대화

- 음용수 및 하수 처리시설 개선

-내부에 내장된 스마트 계량기 설치

- 네트워크 내 디지털 시스템과 네트워크 연결

- 운영비와 미래를 외부로 격리

이러한 업그레이드는 음용수 품질 개선, 지원 등 다양한 효과를 가져옵니다. 또한 EU 물 및 환경 준수 사항도 준수합니다.

야니스 차키리스(Yannis Tsakiris) EIB 부행장은 “깨끗하고 안전한 물에 접근하는 것은 기본권이자 공중 보건, 사회적 결속, 경제적 회복력의 초석”이라며, “스마트 계량기, 디지털 시스템, 에너지 효율적 설비를 통해 수자원 손실과 배출을 줄이고 아테네가 기후 도전에 대응하도록 할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

국가 개혁 및 유럽 기후 목표 지원

스타브로스 파파스타브루(Stavros Papastavrou) 환경·에너지부 장관은 “EIB가 EYDAP에 처음으로 장기 자금을 지원하는 이번 협정은 그리스의 만성적 물 부족 문제를 해결하고 아티카 지역 400만 시민 서비스 향상을 위한 결정적 발걸음”이라고 강조했다.

이번 금융 지원은 그리스가 독립규제기구(RAAEY) 등을 통해 물 관리 규제를 현대화하는 중요한 시점에 이루어졌다. 아울러 인프라 업그레이드뿐 아니라 다음과 같은 정책 목표를 뒷받침한다.

EIB 자문 부서는 인베스트EU(InvestEU) 자문 허브를 통해 투자 프로그램 준비 과정에서 EYDAP을 지원하며, 기후 회복력이 높은 전략 수립을 도왔다. EYDAP은 이번 지원을 높이 평가하며, 향후 인베스트EU 자문 허브와 자체 프로젝트 준비 기금을 연계한 추가 협력을 계획하고 있다.

EYDAP, 현대적 물 인프라 구현 목표

게오르구스 스테르기우(Giorgos Stergiou) EYDAP 이사회 의장은 “EIB와의 협정 체결은 EU 주요 투자 기관이 EYDAP과 주요 인프라 프로젝트 수행 능력을 신뢰한다는 증거”라고 말했다. 이어 “노후 네트워크 현대화를 통해 누수와 공급 중단을 줄이고, 수백만 시민에게 혜택을 주는 프로젝트를 가속화할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.

 

하리스 사치니스(Haris Sachinis) EYDAP 최고경영자는 “이번 투자 프로그램은 고객에게 안전하고 신뢰성 있으며 효율적인 물 서비스를 지속적으로 제공하고, 미래 물 관리 과제를 해결하는 데 필수적”이라고 말했다.

 

이번 투자는 약 21억 유로(약 3조4천106억 원) 규모의 EYDAP 광범위 인프라 계획의 일부로, EIB 대출은 전체 프로그램의 최대 50%를 지원하며 나머지는 회사 자체 자금과 상업 대출로 조달될 예정이다.

Greece: EIB €250 million financing supports EYDAP’s investment programme for sustainable and climate-resilient water services in Attica

- The €250 million EIB financing will support EYDAP’s first large-scale investment programme, aiming to improve water supply and wastewater services for more than 4 million citizens in Attica.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a new €250 million financing framework with the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP) to support a €514 million investment programme designed to modernise and upgrade water supply and wastewater services for more than 4 million residents in the Attica region. This agreement marks a milestone for EYDAP, as it secures long-term financing for the first time to implement its strategic investment plan.

The investments, to be carried out between 2025 and 2030, will strengthen the reliability, safety and sustainability of water services in one of Europe’s most densely populated metropolitan areas. At the same time, they will support Greece’s adaptation to climate change by enhancing resilience to drought and reducing the environmental footprint of urban water networks.

Modern infrastructure for a sustainable future

The investment programme includes a wide range of projects with long-term benefits for citizens and the environment, such as:

- Replacement and modernisation of water supply and wastewater networks

- Upgrading of drinking water and wastewater treatment plants

- Installation of smart meters to improve efficiency and reduce losses

- Deployment of digital systems and automation in the network

- Energy efficiency measures to reduce operating costs and emissions

These upgrades will improve the quality of drinking water, protect public health, reduce pollution, and help Athens adapt to the impacts of climate change. They will also ensure continued compliance with EU water and environmental directives.

이번 투자는 약 21억 유로 크기에 EYDAP의 전면적인 계획이 포함되어 있습니다. EIB 대출은 현재 5억 1,400만 유로 크기의 프로그램 중 최대 50%를 충당할 수 있도록 하고, 나머지 대출은 회사 자체 재원과 함께 사업 기회로 인해 가능성이 높습니다.
