[미국] Koch, 물 처리 플랜트에 UF시스템 설치

멤브레인 제조사인 Koch Membrane Systems는 델 리오에 위치한 물 처리 플랜트에 UF 시스템 설치를 시작했다고 밝혔다.

Koch의 TARGA II UF 멤브레인의 성공적인 실험 결과에 따라서 회사는 존재하는 시스템의 최소변경으로 멤브레인을 장착할 수 있다고 설명했다. Koch는 현재 체계와 시스템 제어에 사용되는 매니폴드, 연결기, 멤브레인 카트리지를 포함하는 조립식의 랙 장착물을 제공한다.

Membrane manufacturer Koch Membrane Systems has started the initial phase of its retrofit to the ultrafiltration system at a water treatment plant in Del Rio, Texas.

Following successful testing of Koch Membrane Systems' TARGA II UF membranes, the firm determined that a retrofit could be implemented with minimal modification to the existing system. Koch has provided prefabricated rack inserts including manifolds, connectors and membrane cartridges that fit within the existing rack framework and used existing system controls.

The full retrofit is scheduled to be completed in a year.
The plant was commissioned in 2003. By 2011, the plant's original UF membrane cartridges were showing signs of wear, requiring frequent fibre repairs. They have now reached the end of their useful life.
