[미국] Woodard & Curran, RMC Water & Environment 인수

미국의 과학 및 운영 엔지니어링 회사인 Woodard & Curran가 RMC Water & Environment를 인수했다. 이로써 Woodard & Curran은 미국의 12개주에 걸쳐 48개 정수시설과 26개 사무소를 운영하게 됐다.

RMC는 물 재활용 분야의 대규모 프로젝트와 수자원 계획 및 설계 사업 포트폴리오를 보유하고 있다. 과거 작업에는 Santa Clara Valley Water District의 물재이용 시스템을 위한 예비설계가 포함된다.

두 회사는 즉시 통합을 시작할 것이며, RMC는 2017년에 공동 브랜드기업으로 운영되어 2018년에는 Woodard & Curran으로 운영될 예정이다.

RMC finds like-minded buyer in Woodard & Curran

US engineering, science and operations company Woodard & Curran has acquired consulting engineers RMC Water & Environment, after RMC initiated a process to find a buyer.

The move expands Woodard & Curran to operating 48 clean water facilities, and 26 office locations across 12 US states.

 RMC has a portfolio of large projects in water recycling, and an established water resource planning and design business. Its past work includes the preliminary designs for Santa Clara Valley Water District's potable reuse system.

 The two firms will begin integrating immediately, and RMC will operate as a co-branded entity in 2017, transitioning to operating as Woodard & Curran in 2018.

 "This is an important milestone in our history. We have grown steadily since the firm was founded in 1979, maintaining our focus on supporting and empowering our people, working side-by-side with our municipal and private sector clients on important water and environmental challenges," said Woodard & Curran chief executive Douglas McKeown.

 "We made a careful and conscious decision about who to partner with for this process. Finding a firm that shares our values and has complementary strengths was very important to us. We found that firm in Woodard & Curran," added Alyson Watson, president of RMC.
