[스웨덴] NCC, 크리스티안스타드 하수처리장 리모델링 및 증설

스웨덴의 NCC 인프라스트럭처(NCC Infrastructure)는 스웨덴 스코네주에 위치한 크리스티안스타드시(Kristianstad)와 협력하여 시 중앙처리장의 리모델링과 증설을 진행한다.

기초작업은 2020년 봄에 시작되었으며 현재 프로젝트의 가장 큰 부분인 실제 처리장 건설에 대한 하위 주문이 이루어졌다. 주문 금액은 약 3억6천만 크로나(약 3천600만 유로/약 4천400만 달러)입니다.

크리스티안스타드(Kristianstad)의 지속적인 성장은 기반시설에 대한 적응을 필요로 한다. 도시의 폐수 관리 시스템은 무엇보다도 확장되어야 하며, 따라서 크리스티안스타드의 중앙 처리장은 리모델링되어 확장되고 있다.

협력은 지난 2017년 NCC와 크리스티안스타드 시(市)가 확장사업을 위한 협력협약을 체결하면서 시작됐다. 이후 당사자들은 리모델링 과제의 계획, 예산 및 프로젝트 설계에 대해 함께 해왔다.

2020년 5월, NCC는 건설 단계를 위한 지반을 준비하기 시작했고, 구조 공학적인 측면에서 이 프로젝트는 현재 대형 하수처리장 건설을 위한 준비가 되어 있다.

NCC 인프라스트럭처(NCC Infrastructure)의 비즈니스 영역 사장인 케네스 닐슨(Kenneth Nilsson)은 "이 프로젝트는 크리스티안스타드 시와 협력 형태로 진행되고 있으며, 다음 단계의 작업 범위에 대한 합의에 도달했고 건설 계약을 체결했다"라면서 "우리는 함께 비용 효율적인 시설을 건설할 것이며 지속적인 협력을 기대한다"라고 말했다.

그것은 본질적으로 막 바이오 원자로를 포함한 최신 기술을 특징으로 하는 완전히 새로운 처리 공장이 될 것이다. NCC는 상하수 기반시설을 건설하고 개량한 광범위한 경험을 가지고 있다.

NCC는 수도환경 전문부서를 통해 스웨덴에서 유일하게 상하수도 전체 공정에 대한 전문성을 갖추고 있어 턴키형 수력발전소와 하수처리장을 건설·설치할 수 있다.

케네스 닐슨(Kenneth Nilsson) 사장은 또 "크리스티안스타드의 새로운 중앙처리장이 옛 처리장 옆에 세워질 예정인데, 이는 엔지니어링 측면에서 큰 장점이다"라면서 "2024년 공장이 가동되면 앞으로 수년 동안 가동할 수 있도록 건설된 최첨단 처리장이 될 것이다"라고 덧붙였다.

이 처리장 증설공사는 턴키 계약으로 이 부분의 서브오더(suborder)는 약 3억6천만 개에 달하며, NCC인프라 사업영역에서 2021년 1분기 중 수주 중 등록될 예정이다.

NCC to remodel and expand Swedish Kristianstad wastewater treatment plant

NCC, in cooperation with Kristianstad Municipality in Sweden, is to conduct the remodeling and extension of the municipality’s central treatment plant.

The groundwork commenced last spring and now a suborder has been placed for the largest part of the project ? the construction of the actual treatment plant. The order value is approximately SEK 360 million (nearly 36 million euros/ nearly 44 million US dollars).

The continued growth of Kristianstad requires adaptations to be made to its infrastructure. The city’s wastewater management system needs to be expanded, among other measures, and thus Kristianstad’s central treatment plant is being remodeled and extended.

The cooperation was launched back in 2017 when NCC and Kristianstad Municipality signed a partnering agreement for the extension project. Since then, the parties have worked together on the planning, budgeting and the project design of the remodeling assignment.

In May 2020, NCC began preparing the ground for the construction phase, carrying out extensive piling work and, in structural engineering terms, the project now stands ready for the construction of the large wastewater treatment building.

“The project is being carried out in partnering form with Kristianstad Municipality and we have now reached an agreement on the scope of the next stage of the work and have signed a construction contract. Together we will build a cost-effective facility and we look forward to our continued collaboration,” says Kenneth Nilsson, Business Area President, NCC Infrastructure.

It will essentially be a completely new treatment plant featuring the very latest technology, including a membrane bioreactor (MBR). NCC has extensive experience in constructing and upgrading water and sewage infrastructure.

Through its Water and Environment specialist unit, NCC is the only construction company in Sweden that has the expertise for the complete water and sewage process and is thus able to build and install turnkey water plants and sewage plants.

“Kristianstad’s new central treatment plant will be built next to the old one, which is a major advantage in engineering terms. When the plant is commissioned in 2024, it will be a state-of-the-art treatment plant, built to serve for many years ahead,” says Kenneth Nilsson.

The assignment is a turnkey contract and the suborder for this part of the project amounts to approximately SEK 360 million and will be registered among orders during the first quarter of 2021 in the NCC Infrastructure business area.
