[미국] 쿠리타 워터, 미국 소재 4개 자회사 합병 발표

세계적인 수처리 제품 및 서비스 제공업체인 쿠리타 워터 인더스트리(Kurita Water Industries )은 미국 텍사스에 본사를 둔 워터서비스(US Water Services), 쿠리타아메리카(Kurita America Inc), 프리몬트산업(Fremont Industries), LLC, 글로벌워터서비스지주회사(Global Water Services Holding Company, Inc) 등 미국 내 통합법인의 합병을 완료했다고 지난 4월 1일 발표했다.

새로 합병한 회사는 쿠리타 아메리카 주식회사(Kurita America Inc.)로 알려져 있으며, 세인트루이스에 본사가 있다. 미국 워터사의 최고경영자(CEO)였던 마이클 라마르 반스(Michael LaMarr Barnes)가 최고경영자(CEO)로 쿠리타 아메리카를 이끌게 됐다.

쿠리타 아메리카((Kurita America)는 미국에 본사를 둔 4개의 연결 자회사를 합병함으로써 영업, 생산, 마케팅, 상업적 오퍼링, 행정 시스템을 통합하여 비즈니스 운영의 전반적인 효율성을 극대화하여 고객에게 포괄적인 통합 솔루션을 제공한다.

라마르 반스(Michael LaMarr Barnes) 신임 쿠리타 아메리카 대표는 "이 회사들의 통합은 쿠리타의 세계적인 글로벌 리더십으로 우리 레거시 브랜드의 집단적 강점을 활용하고 확장할 수 있는 전례 없는 기회를 의미한다"고 말했다.

새로운 쿠리타 아메리카는 시장이 물과 공정처리를 바라보는 관점과 처리방식을 바꾸려고 한다.

쿠리타 아메리카를 구현하는 결합된 자회사들은 건강관리, 식음료, 농업, 경공업, 상업 및 기관, 바이오 연료, 시립 식수 등과 같은 광범위한 산업에 걸쳐 수십 년의 집단 산업 전문지식을 대표한다.

반스 사장은 "쿠리타의 70년 이상 글로벌 리더십과 연구개발에 대한 변함없는 투자에서 비롯된 힘과 결합된 이곳 미국에 있는 우리 레거시 기업들의 경험과 능력이 우리 새 회사의 기둥"이라고 말한다.

Kurita Water Industries Announces Merger Of Its U.S. Subsidiaries

Kurita Water Industries, (Kurita), a leading global provider of water treatment products and services, today announced the completion of the merger of its consolidated subsidiaries in the United States, including  U.S. Water Services, Inc., Texas-based, Kurita America Inc., Fremont Industries, LLC, and Global Water Services Holding Company, Inc.

The newly combined company will be known as Kurita America Inc., and will be headquartered in St. Michael, MN. LaMarr Barnes, former CEO of U.S. Water, will lead Kurita America Inc., as Chief Executive Officer.

By merging the four consolidated subsidiaries based in the United States, Kurita America has integrated their sales, production, marketing, commercial offerings and administration systems to maximize the overall efficiency of business operations to provide comprehensive integrated solutions to its customers.
