[미국] 에어리퀴드, 북부 텍사스의 전자 산업 확장 지원하는 장기 계약 발표

에어 리퀴드(Air Liquid) 사는 전자 산업에 초고순도 질소와 산소를 공급하기 위해 노스 텍사스에 있는 최첨단 공장에 약 7천만 달러를 투자했다고 발표했다. 이러한 투자는 두 개의 기존 제조 시설의 확장을 지원하고 지역 내 새로운 제조 현장에서 현장 공장 및 시스템을 구축, 소유 및 운영하는 데 사용된다. 기존 시설에서 2023년 2분기에 가동 및 공급이 시작되고 2025년 상반기에 신규 제조 현장에서 가동될 것으로 예상된다.

사물인터넷(IoT), 빅데이터, 인공지능, 스마트폰 및 5G 기술 및 자동차 전자 부품의 발전으로 전 세계적으로 전자 산업의 역동적인 성장이 가속화되었다. 전자 산업은 지난 5년 동안의 빠른 성장 이후에도 장기적으로 구조적 확장을 계속 누릴 것으로 예상된다.

Air Liquide announces long term agreements supporting electronics industry expansion in North Texas

 

Air Liquide announces that it has invested nearly $70 million U.S. dollars in state-of-the-art plants in North Texas to supply ultra high purity nitrogen and oxygen to the electronics industry. These investments will support the expansion of two existing manufacturing facilities and will also be used to build, own and operate onsite plants and systems at a new manufacturing site within the region. Operations and supply are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2023 at the existing facilities and to start in the first half of 2025 at the new manufacturing site.

The dynamic growth of the electronics industry globally has been boosted by the rapid adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence, advancements in smartphones and 5G technology and automotive electronics components. After the rapid growth over the last five years, the electronics  industry is expected to keep enjoying structural expansion over the long term.
